Below are the terms and conditions governing your use of the website Geantonline.ae .By accepting these terms and conditions , you agree to comply with these terms and conditions with GeantOnline/Geant Hypermarkets / Fucom LLC .in relation to your use of the Site . If you do not accept this term and conditions please do not access, register with or use this Site. You must read, agree and accept with our terms and conditions and privacy policy before you may become a member of our website.  

Eligibility for Membership
Geant Online is an online shopping website where credit /cash payment may require. Hence, the full functionality of the website is available only for individuals who are 18 years and above. However web users will have access to all contents in our website. Geantonline.ae reserves the right to limit or withdraw access to the Site or the membership of any person if Geantonline.ae believes that person is under the age of 13 years. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any other time are correct and complete.

Your Account and Registration Obligations
Registering an account with Geantonline.ae is a mandatory requirement to start buying products. When you register as a member of the Site you have been or will be required to provide certain information and register a username and password for use on this Site.

On becoming a member of the Site, you agree: 
  1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the account. 
  2. You must immediately notify Geantonline.ae of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security.
  3. Geantonline.ae will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
  4. You will provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by Geantonline.ae's registration form.

When you visit Geantonline.ae or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail , by posting notices on this site or through our social media channels. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Amendments to this User Agreement
You acknowledge and agree that Geant Online/Fucom LLC shall endeavor to give you notice for any amendment to this Terms and Conditions that materially increases your obligations or decreases your rights under the Terms and Conditions, in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. You acknowledge and agree that Geant Online/Fucom LLC at its sole discretion and without liability may make amendments without your further specific agreement at any time with immediate effect by posting a notice of the amendment on the Site.

Product pricing
Except where noted otherwise, the Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and shipped by Geantonline. All customers will be charged in UAE Dirham and differences between approximation in other currency and actual billing price on the customer's credit card bill is probably attributable to different credit card companies charging different exchange rates.

Use of the Site & Community pages
Geant Online strongly recommend  users to follow the Terms and Conditions of this website and  to respect fellow community members on our Social Media pages and to understand that while using the Site & community pages, you will not:
  • Post comments/contents that is abusive, defamatory, or obscene;
  • Post information that is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;
  • Post information which may considered culturally or religiously offensive;
  • Post any information on specific website outside of Geantonline.ae; or advertising;
  • Transmitting material containing any form of advertising or promotion for goods and services, junk mail, chain letters or "spam";
  • Interfering or disrupting networks or websites connected to the Geantonline.ae site;
  • In violation of any intellectual property right of another;
  • In violation of any law or regulation, or
  • Otherwise offensive, graphically or in tone.
Geant Online have the right to withdraw any account that may fall into the above category without any prior notice.

All content included on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, is the property and copyright work of either Geantonline.ae/Geant Hypermarket/Fucom LLC, its users, its content suppliers or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents or other intellectual property rights and laws. The compilation of the content on the Site is the exclusive property and copyright of Geantonline.ae and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents or other intellectual property rights and laws.

Trademarks 
"Geantonline.ae" and related logos, and other works and logos on the Site are either unregistered trademarks or registered trademarks of Geant Online/Geant Hypermarket/Fucom LLC and are protected by international trademark and other intellectual property rights and laws. Geantonline.ae's trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Geantonline.ae's or in any manner that disparages or discredits Geantonline.ae. All other trademarks not owned by Geantonline.ae that appear on the Site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Geantonline.ae.

Abusing Geantonline.ae
Please report problems of any kind or violations of this Terms and Conditions to Geantonline.ae. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated, please notify Geant Online/Fucom LLC. Without prejudice to any other rights and remedies of Geant Online/Fucom LLC under this Terms and Conditions or at law, Geant Online/Fucom LLC may limit, suspend or withdraw a user's access to the Site. Also Geant Online/Fucom LLC can choose to take other technical and/or legal steps against users who create problems or possible legal liabilities of any kind, who infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties or who act inconsistently with this User Agreement or our policies.

Withdrawal of Access and/or Membership
Geantonline.ae may limit, suspend or withdraw your membership and / or your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including without limitation, breach of this Terms and Conditions.

Limitation of Liabilities
Geant Online/Fucom LLC, its officers, employees, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary, including but not limited to, losses or damages for loss of profits, goodwill, business, opportunity, data or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, its services or this Terms and Conditions. If at any time you are dissatisfied with the website or any contents on the same, you can discontinue your use of it. 

Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Geantonline.ae and its officers, employees, agents and suppliers harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses) 

Third Party Websites
Geantonline.ae may include third party website links or contents and disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from your use of those websites. Please read our Privacy policy

Payment
You can pay by Credit Card Card and Cash. The mode of payment may vary depending on the products you buy. As of now, only Food items have pay on delivery option and for Geant direct products, payment should be made at checkout using your Credit Card. Orders & Delivery
GeantOnline’s easy to order and deliver service is aimed at 100% customer satisfaction.

Géant Online will update the product list on its website to show only those products that are available. If products become unavailable, those product listings are temporarily removed from the website until the product is again available.

Geantonline provide customers with an option of picking from multiple delivery slots across three days including the current day. Some delivery slots may not be available due to pending orders or technical issue. While we try hard to ensure that all deliveries take place on time, elements like traffic, and weather may contribute to late delivery.

Geantonline delivers across the UAE, though Food items are limited to certain areas in Dubai. Click here to know if your place is listed.

Geantonline will send you an email detailing the products ordered and estimated date and time for delivery. Delivery will be made to the address you provided when order was made . Food items are delivered by Geantonline whereas Geant Direct products are delivered either by Geant/our logistic partners and/or suppliers.

Order Acceptance 
Geantonline.ae follows certain criteria for the order acceptance.  Geant Online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order made at Geantonline.ae for any reason whatsoever. Unavailability of stocks, errors in pricing or product information or unlawful transactions may result in the order being cancelled. We’ll keep you updated if any one of the product(s) you ordered may fall under that above criteria two hours prior to the order shipment or if additional information is required to accept the order. All grocery orders are packed two hours prior to the delivery slot to ensure the freshness on delivery. Customer will only be informed about the unavailable product only after the packing is done. The customer agrees not to dispute and agree that Geantonline.ae’s decision is final in such instances.If there is any refund in your order or your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, the same amount will be credited to your credit card within 24 hours from our side.Please refer to our refund and exchange policies to know more.


Disclaimer : Refund amount will be credited to customer's card within same day from our side, but bank to bank transfer will take upto two to three business days..

Order Cancellations by the Customer
If cancellation notice, either by email or by phone is duly received by Geantonline.ae and the order is not shipped out by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. However, orders that have been already shipped out by us cannot be cancelled, give the condition that the orders should be cancelled before shipping. The customer agrees not to dispute and agree that Geantonline.ae’s decision is final in such instances.

Unlawful Transactions
Geant Online  reserves the right to recover the cost of products, collection charges and lawyers’ fees from persons using the Website fraudulently. Geant Online reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against such persons for fraudulent use of the Website and any other unlawful acts or acts or omissions in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Delivery of products made by Credit Card
Geant Online reserves the right to cancel/block any order where we believe that the cardholder is not the actual recipient . In such cases, the cardholder can email us at info@geantonline.ae with a scanned copy of the cardholder's Emirates ID with a statement on who can claim the product you purchased with your card.

Returns
Geant considered refund or exchange of the product we sold under certain conditions. Please read our Return and Refund policies to know more.

Faulty Products
Geant Online will replace any products that are damaged or faulty upon delivering.You can also obtain a refund if you prefer that to a replacement of product. Please read our Return and Refund policies to know more.

Images on website
The images referenced, made accessible or made available to you on Geant Online are for illustrative or viewing purpose only. Product images are subject to change without any prior notification. Geant Online cannot guarantee that the product you receive should come in the same packing as seen on the website. However, we try to maintain accurate information and exact image of the product you may or wish to buy.

Freebies 
Freebies associated with purchase of a product from Geantonline may or may not be delivered to you along with the product purchased. Delivery time may vary for freebies.

If you wish to return the product purchased from GeantOnline, you’ll also have to return freebie you received. If not we may charge you a reasonable amount for the freebie.

Contest & Giveaways
Geant Online giveaways & contests are open only to individuals who are legal residents United Arab Emirates. Employees of Geant Online, those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of Giveaways, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, officers, directors or subsidiaries are not eligible.Participation in the Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. All prizes should be claimed within 90 Days( 3 months) of announcement. Winners will announced on our Social Media Channels.

Geant Gift Cards
Geant Gift Cards never expire. When you purchase a Geant Gift Card you agree to the terms and conditions of Geant Online that the Geant Gift cards once bought are not returnable or refunded. This card can only be redeemed at Geantonline.ae.
Vouchers & Gift coupons
  • Vouchers and gift coupons issued to you by Geant Online can only be redeemed online at Geantoline.ae
  • Vouchers and Gift coupons cannot be used at any of the Geant physical stores.
  • Each vouchers and gift coupons issued by Geant Online can be used only once.
  • Voucher and Gift coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Redemption of the Géant E-coupons is allowed for the full amount only, and no partial redemption are allowed.
Warranty
Geant / Our Supplier’s warrants that the products we sell through our website to be free from any defects for 1 year from the date of purchase.  If during the first year after purchase a defect in the product should occur, return the product with proof of purchase, for repair at no charge.(Warranty Terms & Conditions apply*) Please refer to our return and exchange policy to know more.

Customer Rights
The Consumer Code of Rights was issued under UAE Federal Law (24) 2006 by the Ministry of Economy (MoE). In Dubai, the Department of Economic Development's (DED) Commercial Control and Consumer Protection pision has been charged with the responsibility to ensure that consumers and retailers alike comply with the Consumer Code of Rights, understand their responsibilities and, where resolution is sought, facilitate this process between retailers and consumers.

As a consumer, you have the right to safety, choice and information. It is also expected of the consumer to understand retailer product warranties/guarantees in detail prior to making a purchase, and request for purchase receipts to enable you to exercise your rights.
